Is it Non-Objective?

This series of non-objective abstract works explores the delicate interplay between chance and intention. Across six smaller pieces (25 × 18 cm), subtle subconscious shapes emerge as I follow familiar gestures and movements, linking forms to create cohesive compositions. Neutral greys and off-whites dominate the palette, with barely-there pinks and complementary greens and reds providing moments of accent and rhythm. Acrylic paint and pencil combine with a craquelé effect, lending each piece a sense of fragility and vulnerability.

A further four pieces (16 × 16 cm) expand the series, featuring green fields punctuated with accents of red and pale pink, continuing the exploration of shape, gesture, and the quiet tension between control and serendipity. Together, these works invite viewers to discover their own connections and narratives within the abstract forms, experiencing the subtle balance of structure, movement, and emotional resonance.
