This collection explores the shifting edges where land meets water, and light transforms both. Inspired by coastal peninsulas, these works capture fleeting moments—changing skies, reflective surfaces, and the quiet drama of weather moving through.
Built in layered mixed media using hand-printed wet-strength tissue papers, on heavy 360gsm paper, each piece reveals textures and traces beneath the surface, echoing the rhythms of tide, wind, and time. Colour and form emerge intuitively, suggesting distant shores, rising landforms, and luminous horizons.
Together, these paintings evoke a sense of place that is both real and remembered—an atmosphere shaped by light, water, and the ever-changing landscape in between.

A5 Miniatures
The series includes a group of intimate works measuring approximately 15 × 20 cm, painted on handmade, deckle-edged heavyweight watercolour paper. Smaller in scale but rich in detail, these pieces offer a more personal glimpse into the landscape—quiet studies of land, light, and water.
Framed mock-ups are included to show how these works can be presented and the added sense of depth and luminosity that framing can bring. A simple frame can elevate the colours and textures, giving each piece a refined, presence.
